Abba House is currently being establishing as a home for orphans and widows in Entebbe, Uganda. At this time we are caring for 30 orphans. This will be the first “Abba House,” a children’s home model that will be replicated in the third-world countries of focus. Abba House will consist of several children’s homes in community, ideally with 1 widow and 12 orphans in each. Connected to each location, will be a food COOP/distribution, medical care, well projects, primary and secondary education, adoptions, trade school, Bible college, missions base, evangelistic outreaches, church planting, agricultural training and the printing of Gospel material. Richard and Debra Kaaya are overseeing Abba House. They are pastoring Tabernacle of Christ Church. They also pioneered a primary and secondary school with Billy and Amy Bope of Indiana. We have been working together since 2002.

Hey Judy, I am a friend of John’s and I was talking to John tonight and he said you may have some brochures or letters on the orphans and sponsorship. We are starting a new Church in Butler Missouri and we are talking about sponsoring a child in Uganda. John will probably come down some Sunday evening in the future and share but in the mean time it would be great if you had some info that I could pass along to the folks…here is my address…Bob Hagberg 508 West Ave

[...] Alma has just been given word that she would have to move from the house she rents in Entebbe. We all thought it would be a good time for Alma to come home for a visit and see her children and grandchildren. At the same time she will be developing a children’s version of her “learning to study the bible” series she teaches adults. She will be returning to help us out with the Abba House orphanage we are pioneering with Richard Kaaya in Entebbe. http://houseoffriends.wordpress.com/abba-house/ [...]
